There was some failure and he's trying to lease me new IPs temporarily that I would have to have all of you guys change your ips, I would have to change them all in our automation and change them on all the servers. If I am doing that work I am finally making the move off soapbox and the hardware it's on and I told him that I am permanently moving and now he's trying to throw free service and shit at me to prevent losing us as a customer. As soon as the current hardware is accessable I will begin moving. When that is I have no idea yet.

17 but this only affects one server, I think but yeah. it's been operating at a massive loss (90% proobably) since the beginning. still waiting to find out what he's doing. kinda stupid to live in NY and put your hardware in TX

The guy who operates the DC the btrfly hardware is in is giving me ETA's into early MAY. I think I am just going to take the most recent backups and put them on their own metal which was the intention in the beginning. It will be a manual process so I don't have an ETA for that but I'm not putting up with this shit anymore.

you two will get your own hardware. I am moving everybody individually onto different hypervisors and terminating my contract with this internet service provider. i will comp at least a month, maybe two and i am just going to focus on you guys, the customers we have now. I will sunset btrfly because it's never made any money and it's been nothing but hassle after hassle with this guy. this means you guys can have more customizations and stuff, as well. you will be more up to date and secure. it was a fun experiment but i chose the wrong guy to host the hardware, i chose the wrong guy to trust with the front and backend software and that's on me. but I'll be contacting you both with new IPs to update your A records with, and you will be all set. I'm going to try to finish all of these migrations this weekend. somehow by the grace of god we found a chassis to put all the disks in so it's being done now, I'll verify integrity and start manual backups later tonight. once again, I apologize. I'd like to blame myself but every one of these issues have always been out of my control. at least now, you'll be solid.
