       a week ago i finished my migration to #grapheneosgood parts: can ssh into my phone and can fine-tune permissionswhat i miss after using iphones for almost two decades: a smoothly working camera, a consistent user interface (including things like tap-to-scroll-to-top, password manager), reliable notification delivery, and airplaywhat i had to give up (but wasn't too hard): face id, find my, airdrop, carplay, messages (imessage), safari, walletbonus: even though the screen size is nearly the same, the #pixel 10a feels bigger than my #iphone. naked, it's too slippery; in a case, it's bulky and still a bit slippery…oh well,.. i guess that's the price you pay for having rsync on your phone ❤️

       @hi Amaya I ask your approach to siloing apps within profiles? I am still trying to wrap my head around that.

       as far as i understand each profile is like a completely separate phone: apps, files, and accounts don't mix. you may want to have one profile for work apps, another for social media, and one more for private apps. when a profile is inactive, its apps don't run.if you want notifications (messaging, calls, etc), those apps must live in your active profile. i may be wrong, still learning...see alsointro to grapheneos by  @solene@bsd.network
