       @thedaemon oh  god thats  a hard one  theres so  so many variables …….right now ,  the thing  that “gets the job done” the  best for me is chimera .  theres no  denying that .but design wise ?  without considering  it being  not really usable for everyday things for me ?  9front ,  hands down ..

       It actually came after Mac OS was out.  It's a native 16-bit OS without wasteful bloat like multitasking, but with useful features like backwards compat with IIe software
