       every week i help people with residency and nationality paperwork, but i have been putting off filing my own.  yesterday i learned that in a week the naturalization application fee is quintupling, so now i am studying to take a patriotic test next week

       @civodul afaics it is not too bad.  but it used to be something you would take at the prefecture, and now they have outsourced it to local testing sites, dunno what that changes
