       i’m trying to distill any sense from this sentence. the very last part is a statement that shows their target audience, sure.middle part is like someone took mongodb being WEB SCALE seriously. or, alternatively (like I first read it), praising how easy raw files are to manipulate?first part… i’m not even quite sure. do they mean that they use relations? is there something deeper here?

       @domi well it sounds like it’s targeting executives, especially with the “simplicity of cloud” – those people see cloud as “we have no servers on premise and it automagically scales to demand” and have never tasted the AWS experience

       @domiIIRC in year 2015, the popular meaning of "relational database" was "schema-ful ACID database that supports SQL"Which was funny because many "NoSQL" (more appropriately called "NoACID") databases still stored data in relations (as in, sets of tuples, a.k.a. tables)So I'm guessing by "consistency of relational databases" they mean the ACID guarantees.
