       If anybody is wondering, mastodon.social server got DDoS’d yesterday but it had no impact on cyberplace.social (and other Mastodon servers) - no queue issues either. Everything just worked as expected. In other news, “decentralised” network BlueSky has been down so much recently the status page doesn’t even work.

       @GossiTheDog I'm on mastodon\.social and I couldn't post comments or anything, but the app was still giving me notifications from folks like you that I follow who are on other instances, so that's cool.

       @GossiTheDog it was not a ddos. it was blacklisted in a dns by mistake.I run my own local dns using unbound and had no trouble at all accessing mastodon.social

       @aeris @GossiTheDog It’s just that most BlueSky users didn’t think (or know) they could use another AppView to continue using it. Maybe BlueSky need to post an announcement during the next attack to explain that they should try other apps.
