       @nugger a while ago I was recycling some old stuff and I was left with a bunch of cable. I was thinking I'd use it to build an extension cord or whatever. After I cut it I noticed it was 100% aluminium. into the trash

       Aluminum is mainly used for larger supply lines. I also the testing on wire is dog shit. I should know, because I test it. I've been told regularly when it fails to just adjust the numbers until it passes. The buyers don't even look at the tests anyway.
