       @Autumn @sicp Cascadia is a really wonderful place for growing hops. Perfect climate for it. Part of why Portland is beer town usa. (Cascadia also has a terrific climate for growing grass; lots of sunlight in summer, moderate heats and humidity year round) Fresh hops have such a lovely smell. Quite a bit like cannabis but more citrusy, minty, chocolate. Lots of variety between different strains, too. If I could grow hops here at the equator I think I would.2026_04_20_15_14_56_3.webp

       @sampler @sicp This is pretty awesome, and yeah, I had no idea about climate at the time but that makes sense, they grew like crazy here, and YES the citrus/ plant aroma is really nice and unique, If you have any interest, we grew morning glory in the same climate and it does just as well,
