       Dear leftists, anarchists, communists and comrades of all flavours,a word please.We are organising for a world beyond capitalism. We dream and (sometimes) argue about strategies to actually overcome a centuries old exploitative social order of global proportion. Against all odds we seriously work towards a goal that most consider utopian (derogatory) but we mean it.        ... but whenever we touch on the topic of "AI" suddenly, out of nowhere, for WHATEVER reason all ambition leaves the room and you honestly ask "Malte, do you really think that "AI" can be stopped?"How is that possible? We actually talk about overcoming friggin* capitalism. FRIGGIN CAPITALISM! You can image that but NOT a world without "AI"? You imagine a world without property, market, labour exploitation, gender discrimination and racism but ... getting rid of "AI" is where you stop?(2/3)

       Sure, we can debate whether "AI" has a place in a world beyond capitalism. I would argue that it hasn't ...... but please, PLEASE, don't ask me whether it is possible to get rid of it. Of course it is. Getting rid of a particular technology is nothing in comparison to the political project of building a post-capitalist world. So please: take a breath, throw that AI-realism out of the room and lets get back to work. (3/3)

       @malteengeler It will largely disappear anyway because it's not economically viable. Nobody's willing to pay for it, they only use it because the companies are burning through billions giving it away for free.
