       @puniko@mk.absturztau.be there is a scene where a mother and a daughter go to the clinic and the daughter is trying to get contraceptives and passing it on as her mother being sick, but house just tells the mother the daughter's entire scheme and also that she's pregnant (in chinese)

       @hannah A bigger divide is that House is in a position of power and mostly doesn't have to worry about getting kicked in the knees no matter what he does.Maomao works under constant threat of being executed so she tries to be as unnoticed as possible, while still being pulled in by her curiosity and damn Jinshi.So any experimentation would carry great risk to her as well. She'd do it, but only when push came to shove. She risked her life to save a noble when she knew shit was gonna go down, so she has priorities here.House, meanwhile, seems like he does it much more readily.
