       @lproven I met and chatted with @textfiles back at Defcon years ago.I've sent him a box of old windows CD games for the archive. If you haven't watched his BBS documentary, you should. He's good people doing important work. On the topic of his rant linked here, what are the cool kids doing for home archiving of this stuff?Synology or similar consumer NAS?I'm still at amateur level with an external USB SSD I just throw things on. I need to up my archive game.

       @pseudonymI would very much like to meet  @textfiles !I definitely don't know about the cool kids but I have 2 cheap old HP Microservers stuffed with identical sized SATA hard drives, running TrueNAS Core. Does the job very nicely, including Apple Time Machine. Servers and drives all second hand.
