       got rid of the tight getc/ungetc nonsense in pkgconf's fgetline function.  now it uses fgets with a 4KB buffer.  roughly ~30% performance improvement when running tests.

       yes, i am aware u-config uses mmap i/o.  i am not convinced mmap i/o actually gets you anything with an RFC822-derived message format.

       @dysfun i mean, it was faster than the original one.  but that is mostly because pkgconf only falls back to parsing the entire pkg-config database when it cannot find a direct provider of a dependency.
