       Buried in New York State's proposed budget is an ill-conceived measure to stifle 3D printing with surveillance and censorware.        @eff Is this being pushed by AI companies trying to make sure there's something out there that "requires" AI to even pretend to accomplish?AI is going to get it wrong, but there's really no other way that anyone is even going to come up with anything at all that even tries to address these stupid laws, like WA already passed.

       @eff This will completely kills STEM forever! Not to mention it violates HIPPA if ever printing for medical implants, or any kind of medical devices for any purpose. Remember those folks who 3D printed masks during covid?! That will never be possible ever again with laws like this!!
