       @lardmotel My take is - Back last century when computing was being invented, it was an engineering task and tended to be done with engineering mindset and values, whatever they are. Ever since around dot-com-boom times though it seems carefully thought out solutions implemented as best-practice have mattered less, and compute power has increased to be able to cover the holes. In other words this claude code is an insult to the practice of engineering and they should be fired into the sun.

       @lardmotel @jonny recently saw someone say there's more compute in your car's key fob than what they had on the Voyager missions. Now imagine the code for the Voyager missions required enormous server farms and a bazillion electricity to function - and didn't even work 100% of the time. That's what we're looking at here.
