       @eff you left out the fact it’s unenforceable — plans for 3D printers have been around for 20+ years. Is CA going to police all the parts you can use to make a 3D printer from scratch?

       @eff California sure is making a lot of stupid moves lately. Gavin is acting like drump and his ilk with moves like this and with the adoption of OS age verification.        @eff there aren't that many people pumping out safe working firearms with 3d printers, let alone full auto firearms. We are drowning in professionally manufactured weapons, so it's hard to see this as doing much for public safety.But it's never actually about safety is it?
