       What if they built a bus line modeled after paternoster elevators? The buses would never stop. They would just have really long doors on the boarding side and they would slow down as they approached a "stop." The stop would consist of a human runway at level with the floor of the bus. To get on, you start running and jump through the big door. It could work.

       @MLE_online As a hybrid of the two ideas, there could be a bus that doesn't slow down at all, but a moving sidewalk at each bus stop helps passengers board.
