       @davidrevoy I've always like the form of the comic presentation to match the story it's telling. Sometimes the 4x4 panel works fine, but sometimes a story element requires a nonstandard presentation for atmosphere.

       @davidrevoy unified but stacked vertically(1×4 rather than 2×2)- easy to download, reshare- keeps frame, license, etc.- single click to open- mobile users only have to scroll vertically- preview/thumbnails typically show center area, no spoilers- can retain full(ish) details- no re-ordering- still have to do long alt text though

       @cerement I have artists who use that vertical (1×4 or more) in my TL, yes it has good pros you mentioned but also this: Cons:- limited to the width of a single long 'thumbnail' sized the column of TL on clients and not all of them have a policy for it (but Mastodon does)- Scaling down image algorithm of the platform, good for graphical style, but not detailed art. - On click, the "full preview" rescale to the entirety of the screen, making them impossible to read without zooming.

       @davidsnug , si tu ne l'as pas vu, je trouve que ça serait intéressant aussi pour plus d'ergonomie et de confort de lecture (sur Mastodon). Je sais que tu fais des planches unies qui comuniquent les unes avec les autres à toi de voir.

Oui, c'est du boulot, mais un peu prémâché par script: Alors en fait, chaque épisode à son transcript fait main (un markdown), ils sont stocké dans la forge ici https://framagit.org/peppercarrot/webcomics/-/tree/master/miniFantasyTheater/lang/en?ref_type=heads  pour être possiblement traduit. Le format, après, se fait 'parser' par le site qui explose le transcript en quatre grâce à une regex; principalement si un digit et un point ou deux point (eg. 1. ou 1: ) se ballade en début de paragraphe. Genre "Panel 1:" ou "Case 1."  Voilà.

       @NiwlCraft Après, ce format markdown ( https://www.peppercarrot.com/0_sources/miniFantasyTheater/lang/en/047_transcript.md ) , c'est aussi le format que j'utilise pour écrire mes scénarios, et si l'histoire ne bouge pas trop pendant l’exécution en dessins et la colorisation, il n'y a pas grand chose à taper ou corriger pour en faire un transcript.

       @davidrevoy Super boulot. En plus ça m'a permis de tout relire avec plaisir facilement. Petit point pas pratique dans mon cas sous Firefox. J'utilise alt+flèche gauche ou droite pour précédent / suivant dans l'historique de navigation. Il semble que les raccourcis des flèches pour la navigation d'une histoire à une autre ne vérifie par si une touche alt / ctrl est utilisée en plus de la flèche et donc une fois sur le site, impossible de revenir à mastodon sans la souris. Cela semble ok pour la touche de modification super / windows (ou autre nom selon l'OS).

       @davidrevoy Ah ben mince, pas de « for AI only à la fin ». Je suis un peu déçu de ne pas savoir si on peut faire un webtoon qui marche à base de litière de chat et de banane… Plus sérieusement, je me demande aussi si le fait de publier tes time-lapse ne fournit pas aux robots de quoi s’entraîner pour en faire qui ressemblent aux tiens… Ce serait contre-productif ;-). Mais probablement que pour l’heure, ça reste une preuve de travail. En fait la meilleure preuve de travail, c’est l’humain, tes textes et toute ta philosophie autour de ton œuvre le montrent. Le must étant de venir te voir faire des dédicaces !Tant qu’il y aura des événements physiques avec des gens, on n’est pas perdus !

Ca me fait penser qu'il faudrait que je reprenne les streaming aussi. Ouvrir le studio virtuellement aux visiteur⋅euses peut-être les lundis après-m' pendant que je bosse, histoire de faire une petite ouverture sur le monde. Du contenu éphémère, mais ça peut sans doute aider quelques curieux à voir le taf, et la lenteur du vrai truc. 🙂

       @davidrevoy One problem with separate-images that you didn't mention: when a link to a multi-image mastodon post gets pasted to Telegram, the Telegram media preview is always the last image.(mastodon includes og:image tags for all 4 images. og standard does not prescribe any particular behavior for that. No idea why Telegram uses the last; Signal uses the first.)(Telegram users sometimes prepend fxmas.to/ to mastodon urls, which rewrites the og: tags for better previews)
