       60 minute queue time in Final Fantasy XIV for Pandamoneum 8 Normal before I got in. Jeez.I'm completely log-jammed because MSQ (main plot quests) also requires me to do an solo instance right now, and I can't do Alliance Raids until I progress MSQ. And you can't enter solo duties when queued for a multiplayer duty so...I even asked the players in the raid "are you mentor roulette" (the duty that fills the longest waiting queues), but no, they were all Raid Roulette. I hadn't even been in queue long enough for the mercy system to kick in.this is increasingly absurd, I just need to read a book or something while waiting lol#FinalFantasyXIV #FFXIV #EmetSelchsAncientDMVSimulator

       @gourd I suspect the game's queues aren't smart enough to even have a mercy system nglthe game's notorious for sending people to the lowest level alliance raid, for example, instead of allowing the higher level people to help someone that's queuing for a higher level alliance raid instead, which just hints at a simple greedy algorithm that just creates lobbies as fast as possible instead of trying to match you to someone that's waited the longest

       Keep in mind that I have a thirty second time limit to accept the duty whenever it fills, and if I don't accept it in that time not only do I have to start over, there is a thirty minute lockout as a punishment.so uh, hope I don't have to go to the restroom
