       I dropped by the market yesterday and got some seedlings: English spinach, rainbow chard and rocket. Just planted them out and watered them in – I sowed radish, kale and collards seeds recently but only the radish has sprouted. Probably I just need to be patient. The collards are quite old seeds but the kale should still come up. My goal over the cooler months is to grow as much of my own leafy greens as possible... I've wanted to get into this for ages but with the state of, well, everything, it seems like now is the time to get serious about it. I suspect my biggest challenge (besides pests) will be succession planting. Maybe I should set a reminder in my phone calendar? #musing #gardening #GrowYourOwn
