       Unfortunate that I have to admitI use Google Chrome and edge as my backup browser I make sure to neuter it as much as possible and I only use it when I need to. Sometimes it's handy having the "baseline" browser

       @ame I'm already using helium as my main browserThere's some things it can't do like casting and playing DRM content but for 99.9% things work

       @Jes@labyrinth.zone My main browser is currently Waterfox. The lead dev of it is considering adding Brave adblock which... might make me leave Waterfox. Not sure yet. My secondary browser is Ungoogled Chromium. In the very, very few instances neither of those browsers work I have a Chromium instance with telemetry forced off.

       @thatgalsilver helium is just a heavily stripped back fork of ungoogled chromium with a proxy for extensions for extra privacy from googleThe main reason I have chrome is because of things like DRM and casting, for some reason neither work with ungoogled chromium and the solution to extract and manually install widevine doesn't work, some sites will say they will only play standard defI do make sure to turn off as many options as possible though when I can including a scroll through flags.Plus having "the default browser" is a good sanity check to make sure it's not the browser

       I only use edge on windows PCs simply because it's there already, I don't like it more than chrome, I hate both equally, but both are equally supported by the software that only works in chrome so meh.

       @thatgalsilver main reason I use helium is just that it's somehow extremely fast. Faster than ungoogled chromium even. Feels magical having websites load so fast, it feels like you're loading a local web page
