       @AnachronistJohn @thephd yes, it’s a problem that Pleroma/Akkoma give out different URLs/URIs from the ones they expect.I did ask GtS to follow redirects when Searching for toots by URL/URI, but… it still often does not work.

       @AnachronistJohn @thephd snac’s posts are so crappy and broken HTML they are often barely legible, and its Markdown is really broken where it isn’t not implemented due to being rudimentary anyway

       @AnachronistJohn @thephd (also, not fully convinced the flat file model can survive a full Fedi experience… my GtS PostgreSQL DB is 7+ GiB of SQL dump (15 on disc, I should do a VACUUM FULL FREEZE ANALYZE again, I guess, then it’ll be 9 or 10) from all the interactions…

       @thephd @mirabilos blame autotools and gnu make?it should take between 30 mins and 2 hours to bootstrap and build on linux depending on your hardware, but on some other systems it is notoriously slow also due to build system overhead
