       I wonder if the Iranians refused to talk to Kushner and Witkoff. Vance is not allowed to negotiate without jewish supervision, so the entire US delegation has to be in a separate room.

       there are so many of those situations. It really is ridiculous because how they act with arabs is probably because they assume this.So many stupid politicians in the US have thought they can "fix" the middle east, when you can't change the people.

       @sickburnbro @BroDrillard @EvilSandmich The only problem is we have this tendency to blame the people "over there" for a lot that they aren't always responsible for. Like it is so cliché in the US to hear "they've been fighting for thousands of years" which could apply to almost any civilization or continent lol. I often translate this to "history is too complicated and detailed so I would rather learn a repertoire of cliché to parrot when I hear a complicated topic come up".I think a lot of problems were generated by the USSR and the USA promoting the state of Israel at the UN and creating this nation. That wasn't 1000s of years ago.

You are correct though, the seed was not in the US. But the US took the mantle after WWII.

       Which brings to mind one of my few original quips that they're still upset with the pharaoh for making them show up for work (they've even made several movies about it).Although I will note, I'm extremely dubious of their genetic claims to that era.
