       Many of us have all watched on in something close to despair as first Russia in Ukraine, then Israel in Gaza, in the West Bank, with their attacks on their neighbours, and theft of land for 'settlers, and the US kidnapping presidents and starting illegal wars.        @IndyRichard We won't. It could only happen with an organisation that is more legally/militarily powerful than the thugs and thug-countries that would stand trial. And there are many of those.In 1945 the US dropped nuclear weapons on civilian populations in Japan.        @MyricaGale I have come to the same conclusion. War crime trials at the end of the second world war were very one-sided. I suppose it is the same as the victors getting to write the history books and present films which show their perspective. That isn't to say that the actions of the Nazis were evil. It's just that only crimes on one side were looked at. Consider the firebombing of Dresden as just one example.
