BUT my connection is 24 minutes late already. That's bad, because if it arrives in Hamburg Hbf with >30min delay, I will likely not be able to get my connection to Denmark, and the next train to Denmark departs 2h later, increasing my total travel time from 10h to 12h

@star It doesn't help that they're running one fewer connections per day each way to make room in the schedule for the EC to Prague. That one starts running from May onwards

@freya Although, me personally, I am very excited about this new connection c: Because it means that I'll have a direct connection from Dresden to Kopenhagen, which saves me about 2h30min and preserves my sanity :3
