       Days like today I understand why van Gogh ate yellow paint to try to feel happy.* Depression sucks, and kind of makes my agnostic self lean away from religion cause like, what kind of intelligent or loving design would go "what if your brain just fucking HATES you with the passion of a thousand suns for no reason sometimes?"*That story is not true, but I get it all the same.

       @nateb as someone who has struggled with depression and mental illness AND who is a man of faith... Let me just say that I believe depression is a testament to God's love. Its a sign that something is wrong and its meant to help us move forward.The fact that so many people are struggling with mental health right now leads me to believe that its our culture that is sick, the social ties that bind us together are broken, and we're living under the thumb of evil men. Family and friends are key.
