       @itsfoss Since #GIT was designed, among other things, to manage #Linux development, that’s actually an indirect compliment to the Linux-Creator too!😊 Still, I prefer #Mercurial.😎

       @itsfoss Still, I prefer #Fossil https://fossil-scm.org and https://fossil-scm.org/home/doc/trunk/www/fossil-v-git.wikiGit provides file versioning services, whereas Fossil adds an integrated wiki, ticketing & bug tracking, embedded documentation, tech notes, a forum, and a chat, all within a single nicely-designed web UI, protected by an access control system. These capabilities are available for Git as 3rd-party add-ons, but with Fossil they are integrated to the point that it approximates "GitHub-in-a-box."
