Personally I kind of appreciate things like drier, dish washer, and air conditioning. They use energy, but I hate the idea of structuring my life around energy conservation - it feels like giving up on human progress.

@teto We hang most of our clothes, but stuff that comes out of the dryer feels much softer, so where that matters, like with sheets, towels, and underwear, etc. We use the dryer.
