       @sun @lain I think now they sink more money into these projects and don't have the talent to condense them down to 90mins to tell a compelling story. Or perhaps they can charge more with a longer film to make up that shortfall.The same could be said for video games adopting open worlds in RPGs now too.

       @kaia @lain I don't think attention spans are sinking but they are getting more selective. It's interesting because video games went the open world route too, opened us up to larger worlds in play in... and they can charge more for the privilege.
