       Parachutes? We don't need no stinkin' parachutes!Apparently the brass decided that parachutes were not needed in KC-135s, and removed them in 2008. The design never incorporated any ejection seat system either. It was decided they weren't needed and the plane had an excellent safety record.Then they started falling out of the sky when this whole Iran bullshit started.
