       What cities do you know from the top of your head, which have a circular metro line? You don't need to be there, nor travel by the metro. It's enough that you know that there is a circular line in this city. I know three: Madrid, London, Copenhagen. With the last one belonging to TIL category.I have some suspects, but I would need to check it, so it doesn't fulfil "from the top of your head" requirement.

       @agturcz I thought the circle line was invented in Moscow.And Glasgow only has one metro line, a circular line.

       @smveerman @agturcz or, more generally, the circles were invented in Moscow. There are currently four rail rings (from inside to outside: original subway ring; old city heavy rail ring which was abandoned for passenger traffic since 1930s but was upgraded to S-Bahn a decade ago; new outer subway ring; and outer rail ring for mixed local trains and cargo traffic ca. 50-100km away from Moscow center), and eight road rings (from inside to outside: old boulevard ring in the very center of Moscow; old garden ring a few kilometers from the center; "third ring" built ~30 years ago; "fourth ring" halfway built ~15 years ago, Moscow car ring built in 1950s that basically defined pre-2011 borders of Moscow; Moscow minor ring also built in 1950s ~50km from the city center, and a decade ago strengthened by Central car ring around a kilometer from it; and Moscow greater ring also built in 1950s ~100km from the city center)
