       @ai6yr I saw that on the news this morning.  I'll never understand how rural states can charge the least amount, yet rural California charges a premium.  That you can buy gas in Hawaii cheaper than California, floors me.  We're getting gouged here, pure and simple.Remember when gas used to be the same prices for months?!  Somewhere along the line, people started taking advantage.  There really should be a national price.  I realize California has a summer blend that costs more to produce, but we're not on it right now.  Also taxes play a role.  Tax on gas in California is, I believe, .61 right now.

       @feld @ai6yr @Starcade California has no pipeline so they have to get their oil from the pacific, and there’s a lot of countries there that also really want oil right now(Although I’ve heard they are now shipping oil from the east coast to the west coast)
