       Yet many in the West, otherwise intelligent people, are admiring the CCP and everything Chinese. They are outsiders, and never had to make a living in China. I never lived in China either, but I lived in "Socialism" and I want no part of it no matter if its Russian, Chinese, Latin or Arab. China will collapse its only a matter of time, and then they will install another Communist government because their Culture will prevent them to ever live under any other. It's all very interesting to watch and I'm thankful X isn't as censored as it used to be so they get push-back.

       In the Return of the Dragon Bruce Lee made it clear he was not "Chinese" he was from Hong Kong. I bring this up to show this is nothing new. The CCP did good job hiding most of the deprived shit that's going on today, and always was going on. The Ethical Cultures of the Western world are simply incompatible with the Chinese way of things, such as humiliating the individual into submission.Censorship does not even begin to describe the CCPs over-reach.

       @WanderingKnight As I understand it, it's all about how these things are contracted and the local governments colluding with contractors to skim money from projects.  Basically, the less they spend (and poorer the quality), the more can go to corrupt local politicians who greenlight these "best price" projects.
