       the same debates that exist over transwoman vs. trans woman could exist for transfeminine, but they don't and everyone is fine with the closed spelling there. thats kinda interesting#linguistics

       @vivi I think the difference might be, one is a noun ('woman') and the other an adjective ('feminine')?And at least in my mind, it seems totally coherent that way, but I lack the words/concepts to explain why
