       Booked a mini vacation to see the Lake Berryessa Glory Hole and now my husband can't stop talking about how excited he is to see the glory hole so please let everyone else on mass transit know what he's actually talking about.

       huh ... looking it up, it seems like it's an overflow/spillway for the dam. What a weird design. I'm guessing if a person fell into it they'd probably get killed in the initial drop, or drown as they got flushed out into the river below. 😬 terrifying.
