       @autistics     Just a reminder that it is "play silly buggers with the clocks day", for those of us in the UK and, I believe, much of Europe.        In a way that no one wants, needs, or is even remotely required anymore, if it ever really was.      That it is natural for it to play havoc with those of us who can barely function in the world as it is, except through the religious control of our routines and structures and that this upsets and disconnects us from them until we can adapt.     So, this is also a reminder to be kind to yourself in the days to come. Even though discombobulation isn't the goal of this, for us, it is so often the effect and like our pets it's alright to have a damn good moan about that and for it to take time for you to get used to it.#Autism #ActuallyAutistic

       @pathfinder it will be darker when I open the curtains for the next two weeks than I expect and it always catches me out.  it's like a mini autumn to those of us that are sensitive to such things.  :(I see no issue with picking either UTC or BST and living with that all year around.  It doesn't bother me which they pick.It's the jump to dark mornings in the spring and dark afternoons in the autumn that is the issue.

       @naturepunk @pathfinder BST/CET is the true-localtime of some village east of Berlin. It’s worse than UTC for me, and I even live in Germany. Pick UTC.(tbh I’d even say UTC worldwide, do away with timezones and just adjust the times-of-day of things, like noon is then at 7 o’clock in america or something; it’s not as most people have mid-day at 12 anyway)
