@kingocounty @thomholwerda the problem is apparently the CPE provided by KPN in this case and "rebooting will fix it"but it is *handwaves* over thereand i am over hereand this is problematic

@ariadne You can avoid that internet box entirely if you are willing to do some networking configurations. I certainly did for my home, since I'm living here. Not saying you should as well, but giving you the power to do it anyway if you feel frustrated.The glass to LAN box is giving you VLANs, VLAN6 is internet (other vlans are calls and TV). @ariadne I'm quite happy with my KPN fiber service, but I never used their router. Gigabit sync for well under €100/mo. I wish I had this option when I was living in Connecticut. There I had no fiber, and paid some $150ish for a cable connection that wasn't nearly as fast or reliable.
