       did anyone here ever do that thing where you get an apartment when travelling instead of a hotel room?i never did that, but im tempted bc for what i currently looking for the apartment seems the best option location-wise, and price is acceptable compared to hotels.like, my biggest worry; for hotel everything typically goes smooth regarding check-in and stuff, but idk if that's the same for apartments? like, there's no check-in desk for example, and i don't want to be stuck to way too limited time frame of getting and dropping off keys or w/e, would that be a problem?

       @ilja@ilja.space apartments are nice (never did airbnb though).though don't assume any necessities to ve provided. what are your specific questions ?regarding key exchange, it depends. if you exchange in front of the apartment, tines are fixed. but sometimes they have a bureau and there you have a reasonable time frame.

       @kura hmm :blobfoxthink: im honestly not even sure if i already have specific questions.. basically i need an affordable place to sleep, and there's a location i prefer to be close to. the apartment fits both criteria. it's just that i never did that, so im kinda wondering if it's really a good idea or if i'll bump into problems im not thinking of.for necessities for example, i basically only need what a hotel room has (bed, bathroom, toilet). but idk, are there perhaps other things i may not be thinking about?the biggest fear i have now is that key exchange will be a tight time window, that would be a deal breaker. i guess i could just ask them about that :blobfoxthink:

       @ilja@ilja.space ask about key exchange, yes. alsobask what they provide (some provide towels and stuf f, some do not. )and last but not least, make sure to get to know how you just leave the apartment. some want some form if cleaning done.
