       Silly thought.If the age verification is required to write software, and software is written text, doesn't that make software free speech?Doesn't that make the verification cost a tax on this free speech?Is that not against the 1st amendment?Again, I'm not smart. I don't know if this is how any of that works.

       @art wouldn't be the first time "software is free speech" has been invoked.Not sure the 1st amendment offers much protection against anything under the current SCOTUS though
