       @lanodan but no! all posts on fedi i’ve seen about it fearmonger that they will take all your data, while in reality it’s just the data you enter into chats with the slop generator (so in my case nothing)it’s well known that GH has been already using the repos for training, a checkbox is not gonna undo the copyright violations that already happened

       @jn @domi @ptrc there's a setting hidden deep in the copilot settings to disable generating commit messages :neocat_woozy: Luckily I disabled copilot so hard that training on my data seems to be disabled by default
