       Suddenly I just understood why some people don't have TVs.I don't watch TV.To me, a TV is a big monitor to play games and watch dvds and... do all the things a computer does, really.So if you don't have any computer-related hobbies... and you don't watch tv because let's face it, it's like doomscrolling but without the scrolling...It just makes sense not to have one.It takes up half a room! Even if it's a small one, you need someplace to sit, to watch it.You could make it part of the landscape, a small tv in a corner of your kitchen to watch while you eat? But then, when you have guests, that's nearly equivalent to having no TV.So. it makes sense that people could just go without. Why bother, if you don't watch it? If you already have a computer? If you hardly ever have guests?

       @Kathee_HDS@tech.lgbt the only reason for a TV for me is to have a place to play games with guests in a big screen. nothing more. I'm not interested in it at all.
