       This is like, everyone's strategy in every war. But what ends up happening (every single time) is nobody believes them except their own analysts and they end up convincing themselves that they're doing great - only to get beat upside the head by reality when it becomes undeniable...Something like:> sir, that was our last missile> what do you mean, last> we don't have any more, sir> WHAT DO YOU MEAN WE DON'T HAVE ANY MORE...

       Which is probably why one of the first thing Zelensky did was prohibit photography of war damage. The "only one drone got through" lie quickly falls apart when there's a fresh video of three strikes. That, and so many military contraventions were exposed. Like a mortar team using a DHL van, MLRS hidden at a civilian mall, ambulances ferrying fully kitted soldiers around, etc.
