       200mg amazon basics ibuprofen: the GOAT, unironically.as far as US-compliant ibuprofen formulations go, this is the best.it is the best because it's a normal tablet so you can take it sublingually.  this is helpful if you need NSAID action quickly, like you're having a heart attack or, in my case, a fibro flare that you would like to deal with ASAP.

       Amazon basics children's ibuprofen, 100mg/5ml: also the GOATwhy is this the GOAT?- you can combine with Amazon basics children's acetaminophen, 160mg/5ml, to create a very effective pain reliever- you can mix both of these with, say, THC distillate, to also add mild dissociative effects- this may be how I managed to survive the aftermath of hours of dental work recently- suggestions are not medical advice nor have the FDA approved them

       600mg ibuprofen extended release tabletsrating: roughly equivalent to smeagol rating the precious- have been able to buy in several asian locales: singapore, hong kong, shanghai...- totally illegal in the US, no XR form of ibuprofen is authorized (but you can buy it at uwajimaya sometimes)- it is fucking cool to get 12-18 hours of inflammation relief with just a single pill

       300/400mg ibuprofen tabletsrating: nice, if you can get them.  better value for money IMO. - available basically everywhere OTC that isn't the US- illegal in the US, 200mg is the maximum strength allowed without a prescription- it is nice having to take only one pill instead of two to get 400mg of ibuprofen in a dose

       @ariadne I always find it so strange that we have 200mg as the OTC standard in the UK yet the recommended dose for all approved ages is 2 tablets orally.

       @ariadneDamn wish I could get them in California, Bay area.  Though I've got other meds and adjusted my diet and it's a problem now, but for a couple years I lived on ibuprofen, and was usually tired in the morning since I had to wake up in the middle of the next to take another dose.

       @kim naproxen is longer lasting and is also a COX2 inhibitor like ibuprofen.  but in the US it is priced higher verses the actual benefit.  so I stick with ibuprofen.
