       @Terry Somewhere someone is going to sperg out about the net launcher ever so slightly changing the point of impact on the rifle by applying a slight amount of pressure to the barrel and demand an expensive and twice as heavy free-floating stocked version of the AK to mount it to.

       @Terry Underbarrel shotguns would be much better solution. This net has only one shot, and it has to be aimed in a situation where aiming is unaffordable.

       @niobleoum I know the Ukrainians have converted some M203 Grenade Launchers to fire birdshot but I haven't seen that contraption yet over there.Also this would be most useful in a wide open area where you have a clear view of the drone coming at you. If you were inside a building or behind cover it might be a different story.

I would not be surprised to find them in use by Ukraine.From Wiki"The M576 contains twenty metal pellets with an overall weight of 24 grams.[2][3] The XM576/XM576E1 was standardized to become the M576. Normal dispersion pattern of the M576 will put 13 of 20 pellets in a 1.5 meter circle at 40 meters.[4] The remaining 7 pellets could land anywhere.[5] Another test variant, the XM576E2, which had twenty seven metal pellets without a sabot within the shot cup, was deemed to spread too quickly for effective use. Both types had a muzzle velocity of roughly 880 ft/s (268 m/s)."
