       @Djeep Probably an anti-scam protection action.Local news had something a few weeks ago about how banks are being asked to help protect the elderly from scams with similar actions or call in someone from the city to talk to the person to make sure they are not being scammed.

       @mhjohnson @Djeep I saw something like this at my local credit union.  The lady in front of me was trying to withdraw like $1k.  And she was giving this big, long explanation for why she needed to pay for part of her rent in cash.I was shocked that it was any of their business why she was withdrawing the money.  So I asked the teller and he said that they are trying to protect customers.  Screw that!  If it's my money and I want to use it as fire starter, that's my business.  Give me my money!
