       i have a samba server with a share. that share has a directory with a colon in its name. the directory appears empty for clients. the server has mangled names = no in its config and is using utf-8. how can i fix this without mangling names? #askFedi #samba #linux

       @tastytea I read up on what "mangling names" means in this context and found an alleged solution: :blobcatgooglyshrug:"Fortunately there is (now) a VFS module called catia which will provide custom character mappings.
