       @AzulCrescent - one year I gave up sarcasm for Lent. It was hard, especially when facing icy slush. Also revealing. It was more fun to be goofy.

       @AzulCrescent I think the difference between sarcasm and irony is that sarcasm is passive-agressive, while irony is generally inclusive.But yeah, back when I was still doing dating profiles I wondered why nobody was into humour, and everyone was into sarcasm. That's a red flag, and not the good kind.

       @AzulCrescent Well, my mum often says really mean things about people, followed by a “Oh, but I was joking!” that always sounds so wrong that I don’t believe her anymore on that point (that she was “joking”) for a long time: she WAS serious, but seeing that we were mad, she pitifully tried to save the face. Spoiler: it never worked.

       @AzulCrescent I love reading sarcasm when it's properly flagged. I love using sarcasm, but I try to always properly flag it as such. Irony, on the other hand, either is implicit and succeeds or it fails. Using either one to hurt people is a misuse of language. And may I say that I love your art!
