       @tk Remember? I have a computer around here that has Slackware on it. Reason why is it's 32 bit and is old enough to buy a bottle of vodka.

       @tk I very briefly worked with slackware machines professionally. Never understood why they went with Slackware, but probably had to do with the weird hardware the client had insisted upon.

       @john @tk Slackware was the first Linux distro I ever used, back in 1992, running Linux 0.99.6. Had to download a bunch of floppy disk images, write them to a bunch of floppies, and then feed the machine for a long time to install it on a 386 with (IIRC) 32 MB of RAM. Fun times.
