       Our dog, Darth Vader, has been growing tons of lipomas all around his body. There's a chance that he may eventually lose the ability to use his front legs.This might be his last year with us. He has a really hard time during the summer heat. Being a large black dog makes that all the more difficult.

       This is what the vet found: ten different lipomas. One could be cancerous, so they've sent a biopsy of that off for further testing.Thankfully, he doesn't seem to be in pain. He does seem uncomfortable, though.

       @lattera my dog has several, very common on Schnauzers. None have been cancerous. was the suspected cancerous one the A "dermal, raised, pink" ? like a big pink skin tag, maybe like a pencil eraser head? Our dog had one removed a few months ago during another procedure, was also nothing.

       @feld Thanks! I hope the biopsy results come back clean. We'll probably have to go monthly to drain the lipomas. He's seven years old, so he is officially a senior dog. Dogs of his size and breed typically live around 8-10 years.
