       Advisor to the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Mohammad Mokhber, told Al Mayadeen that Iran intends to leverage the strategic position of the Strait of Hormuz to impose pressure on the West. Once the aggression ends and a new system is established for managing the Strait, Iran could transition from a sanctioned state into a more powerful one. He also described the creation of this new framework for the Strait of Hormuz as one of the expected outcomes of the ongoing escalation against Iran.
