       @murena I appreciate the work you’ve put into /e/os on the Fairphone 6. However, I’ve run into issues with your cloud service. The lack of a reset option for CryptPad and the absence of encryption on your Nextcloud server make it difficult to rely on for secure storage. This limits its usefulness for me and raises concerns about trust. Are there plans to address these gaps?

       @aproposnix 1/2 Hello, thank you for your feedback! We discussed it with our team. CryptPad does not support password reset by design. It uses client-side encryption, so the user’s password is the only key for decrypting their data. This means that their server never has access to passwords, neither encryption keys. This is their core privacy model and makes it technically impossible to do a password reset.

       @murena I wasn't asking for a password reset of cryptpad. I was asking to have the cryptpad reset so that I could create a new instance.

       @murena in the end, with regards to cryptpad, I had to have the entire account deleted and a new one created. It would have been easier if the cryptpad was just reset by your admins. If a user loses the password then it becomes useless on their account as they can't even create the new cryptpad instance
